Pacifica Institute formerly known as Global Cultural Connections, was founded in 2003 by the Turkish-American community of California as a non-profit organization with 501(c)(3) status. Our mission is to promote cross-cultural awareness within the diverse communities we live in and help establish a better society where individuals love, respect and accept each other as they are. To this end, we organize conferences, panels, public forums and art performances as vehicles to bring people together from different communities and ethnic backgrounds.

Through the intellectual interaction opportunities in the forms of conferences, panels, art performances, and presentations about issues we bring people together from different communities and ethnic backgrounds.
