Pacifica representatives attended pre-parliament event "Making a World of Difference: Community Conference" held in Santa Clara University on December 13, 2008. Participants experienced the difference that one community can make when those who are part of religious and spiritual communities, nonprofit organizations, educational institutions, government agencies, business, and grassroots community groups come together to reflect on issues of mutual concern. They explored the good work that is currently being done in our community, imagined possibilities, and discovered the inspiration to take simple but profound steps toward hearing each other and healing our earth.
